Verdant Slow & Flow (all levels)
Tuesday  9:30-10:45 AM
Thursday 6:30-7:30  PM
You don’t need to move fast to feel powerful!  Build strength with flexibility while mindfully focusing on alignment, breath and spirit. Some held poses, some flow.

Lunar Yoga (all levels)
Tuesday 7:30-830 PM
Restore after the day and set yourself up for a good night’s sleep.  This class begins with heat building flow and becomes progressively more restful. This practice includes the Lunar Namaskar (flow), core strengtheners, and stretches for the back and legs ending in a longer savasana (rest pose).  No chaturangas or planks!

Verdant Yoga Flow (all levels)
Saturday 9:30-10:45 AM
Clear out the week and prepare for a great weekend with a full body flow.  This energizing class includes salutations, twists, and chest openers, to build strength and increase flexibility.  Peaceful mind, happy body, and sparkling spirit!

Why do a private?

  • Each lesson is tailored completely to meeting you at your level, and taking you to your next level.
  • You gain in-depth guidance and understanding regarding alignment, the poses, flow, and how yoga and meditation relates to, and enhances your life.
  • If you enjoy hands on assists, you will get plenty!
  • You won’t need to leave your home. I’ll do all the mat hauling and careening around in traffic.
  • You don’t need a sitter, children are welcome.
  • After savasana you can already be home.
  • Your pets can practice too!

How much for a 60-75 minute session?
One Person – $65
Two-Four People – $85
Five-Six People – $110

My Teaching Style

Teaching yoga since 2007, my style is an eclectic mix.  I follow my personal intuitive, creative, expression and blend it with respectful inspiration from my teachers. My certification under Shiva Rea‘s graceful guidance focused on the movement and flow of energy with deep connection to the spiritual aspects of yoga.  This approach remains key.  I am also influenced by the strengthening and personal evolution philosophy found in Ana Forrest’s yoga school of modern sensibility, which I studied extensively under senior Forrest yoga teachers, Talya Ring and Steve Emmerman.  After training in aerial fabric (silks or tissue) at Aloft in Chicago, aerial yoga became a natural extension.  Mentors here include Tracy Von Kaenal, Brent Holten, and Air.

I have also practiced and studied Zen Meditation, Psychic Meditation, Faerie Faith, Pranayama, and Energy Healing.  These experiences and elements merge to create classes that are a themed journey, delving into the body, mind, and psyche.  Seeking to help my students find an expression of the poses that are comfortable, safe, and joyful as opposed to perfect looking.  I emphasize breathing, alignment, and breath-linked cuing.  I am always checking in with my students and giving hands-on assists or demonstrating when possible.  Laughter is encouraged!
